When I export products some of the products have descriptions that get converted to HTML characters when viewed in Excel. Instead of inches 24″ it displays 24&#8243 How can I change this when I export?

Hi mallen, in the 1.3.7 Plugin update for WooCommerce’s Store Exporter we convert those HTML entities into single plain-text characters (e.g. &#8243), I’ll get this change into the other Platforms too and confirm that we’re doing the character conversion correctly.

I am using it with WP-ecommerce and I don’t think it did this before.

    Hi Michael,

I understand you made fixed this error many months ago, however it still seems to be happening. Are there any functions/options I had to toggle beforehand?

Many thanks in advance for the help

Just closing old topics, this has been resolved since migrating to the PHPExcel Class for generating export files and dropping the hand-written CSV writer.
