Product Description

This user-friendly Product importer, with clear step-by-step instructions helps you import and update Products, Variations, Categories, Tags, and other Product details into your WordPress-powered store.

After successfully importing tens of thousands of Products across hundreds of WP e-Commerce, Jigoshop, WooCommerce and Exchange stores Product Importer Deluxe has become the standard for store owners and web developers to bulk import Products, Variations, Categories, Tags, Brands.

Product Importer Deluxe can merge Product changes against existing Products with live and post-import reporting.

Variations, Categories, Tags, Brands, Images and other Product details assigned to Products within the CSV file are all generated at import time making setting up your next store a simple one-step import process. Our free Store Exporter Plugin can export Products from an existing WordPress store making importing changes to existing Products almost too easy!

To enable the import options for the above 3rd party Plugins ensure the Plugin (e.g. Related Products) is activated and up to date, refer to the sample CSV’s available in the FAQ section on this page for examples. 1. Hi!
I have set up some Custom product fields which I export using the Deluxe plugin. Will this plugin be able to import those custom fields?

    Jan D.

    • Hi Jan, sure can. Just add the custom Product meta names to the “Custom Product meta” textbox on the initial upload screen. 🙂

  2. Hi, if I will have some prices byweight, for example price /Kg and I want to divide them by 10 to show prices /hg is that possible? Also I would need to keep another copy of the price /kg registered in a custom field too.. is that possible?

    • Hi Matteo, that could be done via a custom import field. I’d be happy to send you a snippet to do this. 🙂

Just to clarify you’d be showing this as a custom Product field not as the Product Price?

  3. hi Michael,
im purchase store export plugin and import products csv file but image is not upload.

how to upload image plz give me answer fast .

  4. I have a pre purchase question, and I want to make sure its working before I buy the plugin.

I would like to update the inventory by product import, can your program merge my existing products by importing CSV? Besides, how is the cron job works? Can it update my product or just an insertion? Will I need to set the matching at once and it will do the job periodically?

Can your plugin import Customer and Order as well? If not, are there any plugins available?

    • Hi S.W., your question got caught in our spam filter (just fished it out), yes our importer can merge Product changes against existing Products. The CRON import engine auto-detects the column matching so you need to format the import file so that the columns match or use the exposed WordPress Filters within our Plugin to force them to match. The CRON import engine is URL-based so is set up within your hosting provider’s CRON job manager screens, it does not use the WP-CRON engine within WordPress.

Regarding importing Customers and Orders, I’m working on our replacement Store Importer Deluxe Plugin which includes support for Order imports, I will be annnouncing it to the public as soon as it’s ready and existing Product Importer Deluxe customers will be grandfathered in (it will replace Product Importer Deluxe). 🙂

  5. Hi,
I have a pre purchase question, and i want to make sure its working before i buy the plugin.

Today i have 2 website (one in french, the other in english) selling music scores.
We are using Woocommerce, groups, posts and ACF mainly to make the website function.

what i’d like to know is could we easily export data from the french website and import on the English website.
Date are the ACF fields, the products,n the groups…
And do it with a selection of products. (like the 10 last products entered in the website)

    Thanks for your reply,
    Best regards,

    • Hi francois, because both sites are using UTF-8 encoding there should be no issue exporting and importing using the same character encoding. Please check what export and import types we support for WooCommerce as while we can import Product details we only offer limited support for integrations with Plugins (please see our Supported Fields list for each Plugin).

  6. Hi Michael,

When exporting orders on woocommerce, I can’t seem to be able to export the ISBN information?
I am using the “WooCommerce Barcode & ISBN” plugin to create the isbn field. Any idea how I can have that in my export csv.

    • Hi Ahmed, get in touch via Support and I’ll request a copy of that Plugin so I can integrate it and send you an early release. 🙂

  7. Hello, I would like to know if the export support Product Variations as well (I only manage stock on product variations)

    Thank you

    • Hi Sergio, if you include the Post ID or SKU of the Variations in the import file then we can update the inventory/manage stock options on Variations 🙂

  8. Can I setup the importer to automatically increase prices of products by category as i am going to be automatically uploading from a wholesale priced csv via ftp.

    • Hi John, out of the box we don’t provide any options for increasing Product price by Category but you could use our exposed WordPress Filters to extend the import and merge engines to increment prices of specific Categories without much effort.

Here’s a list to look further into:

  9. Hi,
I use Custom Post Type UI plugin, and create custom taxonomies input fields directly in woocommerce products.
Is it possible to import multiple taxonomies (coma separated), directly to different products (not all products) without change other data in the products, and update them again and again if needed?

    • Hi Andrew, yes WooCommerce Subscriptions is supported as part of the Subscriptions export type (with Subscription filters) and supported fields within the Order export type 🙂

      • Thanks for that Michael

Is it ok if I send a question via support before I purchase? There’s some data that I dont want to make public.

        • Hi Andrew, sure thing, just sign up for a free account and spam away, I check tickets every morning and am working through a backlog from vacation so ping us on Facebook if there’s an delay in responding 🙂

  10. Hello,

I’ve purchased this product and it’s working fantastically, a little slow importing/merging change, however this isn’t an issue.

Please can you point me in the direction or provide information for adding additional import field, I’ve purchased a plugin called Product Price Info and would like to bulk import this information.

    Thanks in Advance.

    • Hi DSTP, we’ve exposed a bunch of WordPress Filters so you can add custom import fields using that method if you’re comfortable editing your Theme’s functions.php file. I’ve added custom import field support via a text box (just as we do in our Store Exporter Deluxe) for the next Plugin update so will do some testing and push that release soon 🙂

      • Thanks for the response, I’m more than happy to adjust the php file if you could send over the information via email, looking forward to the update. Get pushing that release.

        Thanks in advance.

  11. Hello,

I’m using Product Import Deluxe, when I make a product import everything goes well but the content loses accents and some punctuation marks like € ! () ó í á

    What should I do?

    • Hi Immograf, I think this might be due to our encoding type detection being a little overzealous and its defaulting back to ASCII and dropping those accented characters. I’ve already made the change necessary to inform rather than takeover where we suspect a different file encoding. I’ll push this change next week when I’m back in the office 🙂

    • Hi tombooth01, we don’t support that Plugin yet but if you can send us a copy I’ll look at what CPT and Post meta that Plugin uses and include export support in the next major release of our exporter. We won’t be adding support for import for some time.

  12. I use custom product fields from another plugin. Can i map these fields to your importer and exporter plugins so that i can update these fields?

      • Hi Michael, when do you estimate the next update will be that allows us to include Custom meta data in the import?

        • Hi Suzan, I’ve got an early release with this done but have delayed release till it’s reliably merging Product changes. I’ve sent you an e-mail 🙂

Can I declare sub-categories and establish parent-child relationships with the included Product Category Importer for WP e-Commerce?

Roger that, when declaring a child Category ensure you use place an '>' (arrow) character between the parent and child. With the release of 2.6.5 you can drill down up to 3 levels deep, for instance:

  • Clothes>Men>Casual within the Category column of your CSV file will link a Product to Clothes, Men (as a sub-Category of Clothes) and Casual (as before).
