Details
Commission King adds a custom write panel to your Edit Product pages and a Settings panel to administer and pay commissions.
Once a commission value is assigned to a product, Commission King tracks all orders made through your store and prepares a list of pending payments. Commission King is even flexible enough to handle fixed or percentage based commissions.
Integrated with your store’s front-end Accounts page, Commission King enables your commission recipients to view their commission history, and update their preferred payment details.
Based on your store’s terms of sale (e.g. non-refundable after 30 days), the commission process can be easily tracked through Pending, Payable, Overdue, Paid and Cancelled. You can even pay commissions directly from Commission King, via cheque, bank transfer, or PayPal!

I’m running commission king version 1.0.7. On your website I see a newer version. How can I get it?

How are commission payments handled?
When a Commission Recipient logs in to their Account page, they are able to set up their payment preferences, including Paypal, cheque or Bank Transfer. Once the Commission Recipient has set this up, the store owner is able to pay them in one of two ways:
- Pay each commission individually. This is done on the Commissions page. Choose the payment method from the dropdown menu, and if necessary you will be redirected through Paypal to make the payment.
- Bulk pay commissions. This is useful if the Commission Recipient has multiple commissions owed, so that you can pay them all at once. Go to the Pay Commissions page which shows all commissions owed grouped by recipient. You can pay the total amount owed from here in the same way you pay for the individual commissions.
How is the commission ‘paid’ status updated? Is automatic or you have to change it manually?
If you are using Paypal, once the payment has been completed Paypal sends you back to your WordPress admin screen. Commission King then uses Paypal’s API to know if the transaction was successful, and if so, will automatically update the commission status to paid.
If you are using bank transfer or cheque payments, you are able to mark commission as paid from the payment screen.
Can a product have multiple payees?
Yes – a product can have multiple payees. It can even have multiple payments to a single payee.
Is this compatible with the Product Importer Deluxe plugin (ie. can I enter payees and commissions in my CSV?)
Commission King is not compatible with Product Importer Deluxe just yet.
Commission King comes with a Quick Start document (readme.txt) to help with installing the Plugin. Additional support can be found from the Contact page or methods below.

Does this work with woocommerce 2.0?
Hi Adam, yes Commission King is compatible with WooCommerce 2.0
Hi I purchased your plugin in mid 2012 and have assigned a commission on some downloadable products. When that product is purchased however the commission does not show up in the commissions list. Can you please advise how to make this work?
Hi James, I’ve referred this question onto Luke to respond here.
Hey James – can you please confirm that you’re using the latest version? Version 1.2.4?
Also – if the purchase is made via direct debit or cheque, you will have to approve the order (mark it as complete) before the commission will be added.
Hi Luke
Yes I am using 1.2.4 commission king and wocommerce version is 2.0.4.
My Site is entirely digital downloads and payments are made by paypal
You help is appreciated
Hi James – I’ve made a whole heap of bug fixes in 1.2.5 that should solve your problem. If not – please send through a support email request.
Hi guys,
Couple of questions:
#1: Is this the same product as http://www.wpflexishop.com/extend/woocommerce-plugins/commission-king/
#2: Does this product work with Paypal Adaptive Payments
Also is the demo site (mentioned above) available yet?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi Mark, yes it is, Luke is the best person to answer your PayPal Adaptive Payments support question. I’ve shot him an e-mail to respond here.
Hi Mark,
No, Commission King currently only work with PayPal standard. I’ll throw Adaptive Payments on to the roadmap, though.
Adaptive Payments would be amazing. I’ve been searching for an automated way to sign up affiliates and pay them instantly or delayed with Adaptive Payments. Nothing exists like this.
Hey guys,
Congrats on creating a product that everyone has been asking for, for a long time.
It all looks great, my only concerns at this point is that for a plugin the price point is quiet high. Secondly there are no ratings of the product anywhere.
Have you guys thought of a Lite version? or a trial? I know you would get more sales. Don’t get me wrong, I believe you should be paid for your hard work….
Keep up the good work.
Craig.
Hi Craig, thanks for your feedback. We’re still in the process of migrating comments/reviews over from our existing site, they’ll be shown here shortly. Feedback for this Plugin to date has been very positive!
Our demo sites (including Commission King) will be available for viewing next week – announced via the Blog – and we are exploring the idea of creating a Lite release of some of our Premium Plugins. Feel free to contact us directly to access our demo site prior to announcement next week.
Fantastic, I look forward to it guys : )
Hi, We have purchased the Commission king and I have a doubt. What is “adjust for discount” in the commision panel? I have to check or not? I don’t know what is tis. Thanks a lot and congratulations for your job!
Hi Silvia, I’ve referred this question to my colleague to update on Monday.
Hi Silvia – thanks for your question.
Suppose you are have assigned a 10% commission to a $10 product. Typically when that product is purchased the commission will be $1.
But what happens if you have put that product on sale, and are offering it for $9 instead of $10? Should the commission be adjusted to the price that the product is sold at? If so, your commission would be 90c instead of $1.
The same applies if your customer uses a coupon code to get a discount on their order. If you check ‘adjust for discount’, commissions will be generated based on the sale price, not the standard price.
Hope that makes sense!
Does the adjust for discount also include discounts applied to the entire purchase?
For example, if there are 3 products in the order, but only 1 item gets commission. The discount is for 50% off the entire order. Is the discount still adjusted even though there are other products included in the order?
Also, what if there is a dollar amount discount ($5 off the entire order), but there are multiple products with different people receiving the commission.
