How do I turn up the backlight?

Question

Answer

Open Main menu
Open Control panel
Open Device
Open Backlight
Switch to the Brightness tab
Change the drop-down to Handheld (normal)
Press Select
Press Save

The backlight is now running at maximum on your Sony Ericsson P1i.
