Zune 4.2 Update Error in Windows 7
Updating Zune to the latest version is causing grief within the Windows 7 Zune community.
To upgrade without a hitch follow these steps:
- Manually download the latest Zune software from the Zune website
- Right click the installer (e.g. zunesetuppkg-x86.exe) within the download folder using Explorer and click Properties
- From the Compatibility tab select Windows Vista Service Pack 2 from Compatibility Mode
- Press OK to apply changes
- Now run the installer as usual
