Upgrading Windows Vista to Windows 7 RC
Windows 7 is Microsoft’s latest monster and can be installed right now for free! Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 RC is death but if you’re on Windows Vista – like most intelligent people – then you’re good to go, pain free, worry free!
- Download Windows 7 Release Candidate and write down your Windows 7 activation key.
- Burn the Windows 7 ISO to a blank DVD.
- Back up critical documents, Murphy’s law.
- While you’re logged in run the Windows 7 Preview Check prior to installing Windows 7 RC.
- You will likely be prompted to uninstall a few things, do it, better safe than sorry.
- Upgrade, go, go, go!
