SlidePress to NextGEN Gallery Bridge

Over on the commercial WordPress development arm of Visser Labs I’ve put up a simple bridge connecting NextGEN Gallery content to SlidePress allowing for stunning image transitions with SlideShowPro.

I’m using this on many of my own sites as an easy way to manage and update the content of Flash-based slideshows powered by Slide Show Pro. It’s an initial release so comments and feedback are encouraged, I’ll be adding sorting as well as album/comment support in future versions.

Very nice, I’d like to see one of the sites where this is running. I followed the links but didn’t find one…

Also, you got a small typo on http://labs.visser.com.au/solutions/

    Hey Oscar,

Check out http://longse.visser.com.au for an example, even though it’s only a “light brown” background you’ll see what’s running under the hood when you view the page source.

I’ll be migrating it to my other stores tomorrow, today is Australia Day! …and thanks for the tip, I’ve been neglecting the site and will attack it next week. :D

Cool, I checked it out. I think I figured out what is supposed to do by looking at the source. Pretty slick.

Good luck with your site work. I have a lot of that pending too.

And I didn’t know about Australia Day. Just looked it up. Pretty cool. Cheers

I’ve removed the dependence on fixed local filepath, next priority is to remove the need for it to run within the NextGEN Gallery sub-directory making it update safe.
