Adding TV Series to Zune
After the obstacle of converting my AVI-based video clip library into Zune-compatible formats I then set about categorising the videos indexed within Zune to take advantage of better playback support of TV shows (e.g. after an episode has been viewed it is dimmed and the latest episode made available).
By default all imported video clips show up in Other, after some research and Zune menu digging I now have all episodes showing within the new Series category of the Video section as well as a new Series category within the Video menu on my Zune!
- Select Videos from the Collection section of the Zune application
- Right click and select Edit from the menu
- Update the Category drop down item to be TV > Series
- Press OK to confirm changes
